As a new client to Edelman Digital, we were tasked with getting higher engagement on the social communities for Sunkist. Knowing that our target audience was parents of younger kids, we decided to use a lighter tone of voice to entertain them (cleverly reminding them that fruit can be fun), while also inspiring them with cute snack ideas for their little ones.
By giving fruit personality, we made both the parents and their kids laugh:
With this “cute fruit” series, we hoped to inspire parents to make art out of snack time. We designed, built and shot each one by hand in our studio at the office.
And we also made this series, reminding parents that not every second is about the kids.
The result? The community ate them up. The Facebook posts were by far the highest engaging ones each month, with 4 or 5 times the sharing and commenting than any other type of post. And the client loved them so much they re-used some of them for internal posters.
